As the humbucker pickup has remained virtually unchanged since 1955, this set off an 8-year quest to create a new pickup that stayed true to the looks of the original Seth Lover humbucker, while greatly enhancing the sonic clarity unique to each player. That journey has resulted in our patent pending Jankenstein Humbucker pickups.

Our Founder

I started this thing called Janktone after many years of playing around with music and guitar hot-rodding. My late father, who was a scientist, gave me the creative juices that drive me and continue to flow. THANKS, DAD. I must also thank my late mother for teaching me to have patience.
